Text Message Terms

TECOBI and our clients respect your privacy and understand the importance of protecting your personal information. By opting in to receive text messages from TECOBI or our clients, you agree to the following terms:

Opt-in:

If you’re interested in receiving updates, offers, and promotions via text message from TECOBI or our clients, you may be asked to provide your mobile phone number and give consent to receive marketing text messages. This can be done by filling out a form on our’s or our client’s websites or other online platforms like Facebook, AutoTrader and CarGuru, or by providing your mobile phone number to employees of TECOBI or our cients. Please note that by providing your mobile phone number and opting-in to receive text messages, you understand that message and data rates may apply.

Opt-out:

If you wish to opt-out of receiving text messages from TECOBI or our clients, you can do so at any time by replying to the message with the keyword “STOP,” “QUIT,” “CANCEL,” “END,” or “UNSUBSCRIBE”. You may also opt-out by sending an email to privacy@tecobi.com with your mobile phone number and a request to be removed from the text message list.

After opting out, you may receive one final message confirming your opt-out request. Data rates may apply. Please note that it may take up to 48 hours for your opt-out request to be processed.

Help:

For help or information regarding TECOBI’s text message programs, you can text “HELP” to the number from which you received the text message. You may also contact TECOBI’s support team at privacy@tecobi.com or call (855) 614-8080.

Messaging Frequency:

The frequency of text messages you receive may vary depending on the program you’ve opted in to. TECOBI and our clients make every effort to limit the number of messages we send to ensure we are not overwhelming or annoying our customers.

Supported Carriers:

TECOBI’s text message programs are supported by AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, Virgin Mobile, and U.S. Cellular. TECOBI and our clients are not responsible for any charges or fees you may incur from your mobile service provider for receiving text messages.

Abuse:

At TECOBI, we take the misuse of our system seriously. Our clients are only supposed to use our system for opt-in text messaging to provide relevant information on the products and services you requested information on of for sending information to customers they have a pre-established business relationship with. If you suspect someone is abusing our system, such as sending unsolicited or spam text messages, please contact us immediately at abuse@tecobi.com. We will investigate any reports of abuse and take appropriate action to ensure that our system is used in a responsible and legal manner.

Changes to These Terms:

TECOBI and our clients reserve the right to modify or update these opt-in and opt-out terms at any time. By continuing to participate in our text message programs after any changes, you agree to the modified terms.
